Views and Exports

Saved views store the filters you use often on tables across Secureframe. After someone on your team creates a view, everyone at your company can use it. You can also export the current table with whatever filters are applied to a CSV on your computer, save that export to the Data Room as evidence, or do both.

Saved views and sharing

Views are shared at the organization level. Creating or updating a view affects what teammates see when they open the same table, so use clear names and coordinate updates when several groups rely on the same view.

Saved vs unsaved filters

The view selector shows which view or filter set is active. If you start from a saved or default view and then change filters, you are in a temporary unsaved state. The UI shows this with a yellow indicator in the view selector so you can tell you have moved away from the saved view before you save, switch back, or export.

Exporting from a table

Use Export... in the top right of the table. A modal lets you download the current filtered rows as a CSV, save the export to the Data Room, or both. The export reflects the table as filtered when you run the export.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I know I am not on the saved view anymore?

  • After you add or change filters from a saved or default view, the view selector shows a yellow indicator for an unsaved state until you save a new view, switch back to a saved view, or clear your changes.

Who can see the views I create?

  • Views are shared across your company. Anyone with access to that area of the product can select the same saved views.

Where is the export button?

  • In the top right of the active table. Choose Export... to open the download and Data Room options.

Can I export and file evidence in one step?

  • Yes. In the export modal you can download a CSV, send the export to the Data Room, or both.

What does the CSV contain?

  • The rows and columns shown in the table with your current filters applied, as of when you confirm the export.

How can I include specific columns like Department and Manager in a data export from a table?

  • When exporting data from a table, the export will include all columns currently displayed within that table. To ensure specific columns, such as Department and Manager, are included in an export, make sure they are visible in the table view before initiating the export.
