You may always manually send invite email to employees, but why not automatically send the email to any new employees and contractors?

By enabling Automatic group invites, Secureframe invitations are automatically sent to the active personnel of your specified groups. As more personnel are added or automatically detected/synced, invite emails are automatically sent after their start date. If you would like to invite personnel prior to their start date, please manually invite them.

You may enable Automatic group invites through the following steps:

  1. Under Monitoring, navigate to the Personnel Page

  2. On the Personnel page, click Personnel Settings.

  3. From the Personnel Settings, click the Invite Personnel tab

  4. You will see a checkbox for Automatic group invites

  5. Select or Click the checkbox to enable this setting

  6. Add the groups that you would like to send automatic invites to

    • If you do not have your groups configured, you can follow this article to set up personnel groups

Going forward, invitations to Secureframe will be automatically sent to all active and categorized users in the groups added!

Auto-invite personnel without a start date

You can now choose to automatically invite personnel who do not have a start date. This gives you more flexibility in managing your invite workflow for personnel who may not yet have a start date on file. To enable this option, navigate to Personnel, select Settings, and then click Invite personnel.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If I set up an auto invite, how does the system know which group to put the individual into?

  • Automatic invites only go out to active and categorized users. Once a user is both properly categorized and active, the users tasks are based on their employee type (Employee vs Contractor) and what groups they are part of.

  • In Secureframe, you can specify users to certain policies or training depending on your needs. (ex, Engineers may need to review Change Management Policies where regular employees may not be relevant. So in this case you would create a Engineer group and assign it to the Change Management Policy.)
