Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do you indicate in Secureframe that a policy has been reviewed when no changes are necessary?

  • The Publish button stays disabled until the policy content changes. You cannot republish a published policy with zero edits.

  • To record a review and pass Security policies are reviewed and updated, open the policy, return it to draft, then publish it again. See Create and or Edit policies.

  • On publish, add the review note in the publish flow if you want the auditor to see it. That note is not a comment inside the policy body.

  • Choose not to require employee re-acceptance if people should keep their existing acknowledgements.

Why isn't the "Published At" date updating on policies after they've been saved and published?

  • This is expected behavior. The "Published At" date reflects the original publish date for each policy, not the most recent update. Future improvements to policy versioning and change history will make this clearer in the UI.
