Test Status Change Notifications

You can receive email summaries that list any tests in your account that have changed status during a selected time period. This helps you stay on top of potential issues before they affect your audit readiness.

Included status changes:

  • Passing → Failing
  • Passing → At Risk
  • At Risk → Failing

How Test Status Change Notifications work

By default, weekly email notifications are enabled for your account.

Each summary email includes a list of tests that changed status during the selected time window.

Notification frequency options

You can adjust how often you receive these summaries:

  • None: You won’t receive notifications
  • Daily: Get a daily summary of test status changes from the last 24 hours
  • Weekly: Get a weekly summary of test status changes from the last 7 days
  • Biweekly: Get a biweekly summary of test status changes from the last 14 days

Which tests you’ll receive notifications for

The scope of test notifications is based on your role in Secureframe:

  • Super Admins and Admins receive notifications for all test status changes across the instance.
  • Non-Admin users receive notifications only for tests they own.

This ensures full visibility for administrative roles while keeping notifications relevant for individual test owners.

How To Manage Your Notifications Settings

  • Log in to your Secureframe account.
  • Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select My settings.

  • Go to the Notifications tab.

  • Under Test status changes, choose your preferred email frequency.

Changes take effect immediately, and future emails will follow your updated schedule.
