Policy Changelog

Secureframe tracks all policy edits in the changelog including timestamps, editors, edits made, and enables you to view previous versions. 

You can access each policy's changelog through the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Policies using the left hand navigation
  2. Click on the name of the polices or the three dots next to the policy
  3. Select Edit
  4. Scroll down to see versions in the bottom right box  

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do you indicate in Secure Frame that a policy has been reviewed when no changes are necessary?

  • We are currently developing Policy V2, which will include a more robust workflow for this situation. In the meantime:

    • Open the policy and enter Edit Mode.
    • Before re-publishing, you may optionally add a comment at the bottom, such as: "Policy reviewed: no changes required."
    • Ensure the "Require Employee Acceptance" checkbox is selected before publishing again.

Why isn't the "Published At" date updating on policies after they've been saved and published?

This is expected behavior. The "Published At" date reflects the original publish date for each policy, not the most recent update. Future improvements to policy versioning and change history will make this clearer in the UI.
