Overview
At this time, the Secureframe platform does not enforce reacknowledgment of existing policies when edits are made after the fact.
Admins can however manually reset policy acceptance status for personnel in bulk, or individually, to have the personnel reaccept policies if important changes were made after the fact.
How to bulk reset policy acceptance
- Navigate to the personnel page
- Select the list of personnel you want to reset policy acceptances for by clicking on the checkbox
- Click the three dot menu in the bulk action bar that appears on the bottom of the page
- Click reset policy acceptances
- From the reset policy acceptance menu, select the policy/policies you would like to reset, you can either select all or the specific policies you would like to reset.
- Once you've selected the policies you want to reset, you have to make the decision on whether to reset policy acceptance status for all years, or only reset policy acceptance status for the most recent year and hit save.
- Once policy acceptances have been reset, you will receive a notification regarding the bulk action being completed, depending on how many records are selected to reset, this may take a bit of time, and a page refresh may be required for the change to take effect.
- Once the changes are complete, new status will be reflected in selected personnel’s details page.
Test evidence is updated for reset personnel
- Once the policy acceptance has been reset for a personnel, the corresponding test evidence for appropriate test(s) related to the policies reset will also be updated.
- To view this, navigate to the Tests page
- Search for the tests related to policies you reset for the personnel
- Refresh the test
- Click on evidence and click failing

Once the policy acceptance has been reset for a personnel, they will need to go into employee onboarding by logging into Secureframe and will have to read and accept the policies
How to view historical completion history in the Data Room
All previous policy acceptance history is retained and accessible through the Data Room. In order to access the history, click on the steps below.
- Navigate to the Data Room
- Click on “Export Data”
- Select “Policy Acceptances”
- Click export
- Review the CSV file for history of policy acceptances

I have made some updated to our Policies after all my users have already acknowledged. Can I force a new acknowledgment?
- At this time, the Secureframe platform does not enforce reacknowledgment of existing policies when edits are made after the fact.

- We do currently have an open Feature Request for this and will update this article once that feature is released.
How can i change the due date for my personnel to accept policies?
- At this time, you cannot change the due date for personnel to accept policies. Currently, in Secureframe, employees are required to accept policies annually.
- However, employees can revisit the onboarding page to reaccept the policy, which will update their last acceptance date.
- Alternatively, you can reset the policy acceptance data for the employees, which are laid out in this article.
