🚀 What is Global Search?

Global Search allows you to quickly and effortlessly locate specific items across the Secureframe platform. Whether you're searching for a device, policy, control, or even a help article, Global Search gets you there fast.

And the best part? You never have to take your hands off the keyboard.

  • Access via the top navigation when in Secureframe by typing in the "Find Anything" search bar
  • Access Global Search from anywhere using Ctrl + K (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + K (Mac).
  • The search bar will appear, letting you start typing immediately—no need to navigate away from your current page.

🔎 What Can You Search For?

Global Search supports a wide range of queries, including:

  • Objects and related items – such as people, devices, assets, or vendors

  • Pages – jump to settings, frameworks, tests, and more

  • Owners – quickly find who’s responsible for what

  • Controls & Tests – locate specific compliance items and view their status

    • Ex, Requirement IDs, 8.2, 8.2.2, 8.3, etc...
  • Support documentation – access Secureframe Help Center articles right within the platform

  • Quick actions – take action directly from your search results, like creating a new control, adding a vendor, or launching a test
