What is Global Search?

Secureframe's Global Search helps you find people, devices, policies, controls, tests, pages, and Help Center articles without digging through menus. You can stay on your current page and jump straight to what you need.

Open it from the Find Anything bar in the top navigation, or press Ctrl + K (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + K (Mac) from anywhere in Secureframe.

Access Global Search from anywhere using Ctrl + K (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + K (Mac).
The search bar will appear, letting you start typing immediately, no need to navigate away from your current page.

What Can You Search For?

Global Search supports a wide range of queries, including:

Objects and related items, such as people, devices, assets, or vendors
Pages, jump to settings, frameworks, tests, and more
Owners, quickly find who’s responsible for what
Controls & Tests, locate specific compliance items and view their status
- Ex, Requirement IDs, 8.2, 8.2.2, 8.3, etc...
Support documentation, access Secureframe Help Center articles right within the platform
Quick actions, take action directly from your search results, like creating a new control, adding a vendor, or launching a test
